The Story of Denarius

Named after the ancient Roman coin that symbolized reward, value, and eternal trade, Denarius Wine embodies the idea that every bottle is a form of reward for those who strive for excellence.
Centuries ago, the Roman denarius traveled across Europe. Exchanged along trade routes that passed through the heart of what is now South Moravia. This land was more than just a crossroads of empires. It was fertile, and devoted to the art of winemaking. Vineyards flourished here long before borders were drawn.

Created by Nature,
Perfected by Science

Our journey begins in the vineyard, where nature sets the foundation and innovation refines it. Through Natur CO₂ Wine Technology, we gently capture the natural CO₂ released during fermentation and reintegrate it into the wine reducing waste while preserving purity and flavor. Science and sustainability are not apart from tradition. They are reborn crafted for th modern palate.

How It Works

During fermentation, grapes release CO₂ with a unique aromatic fingerprint linked directly to the must, varietal, and terroir. Most wineries release this gas into the air as waste. We don’t.

  1. Natural fermentation gas is captured at the source. Clean, pure, unaltered — carrying the unique sensory identity of the wine.
  2. It is filtered, purified, stabilized and stored in tanks
  3. The same CO₂ is reintegrated back into the wine, allowing precision carbonation without external additives or artificial pressure.

Our Home

Situated between Austria, Slovakia, and Poland, South Moravia has been a cornerstone of Central European winemaking for more than a millennium.
During the era of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, much of the wine poured in Vienna came from nearby Moravia reflecting its longstanding reputation for quality. While the Empire collapsing in 1918, Moravia’s winemaking legacy stretches far beyond that. Its vineyards have thrived through kingdoms, borders, and centuries, carrying traditions that predate and outlast any empire.

Denarius Sparkling show bright fresh acidity, the small bubbles I feel in the center of my tongue and love the fruit flavor that the wine displays surprised to see it is from the Czech Republic but I love the packaging, the story and what in the bottle delicious wine ...

Bruce Nichols Naples Winter Wine Festival

I love the refined bubbles Denarius displays I get the Citrus fruit flavors but also get some tropical notes but the crisp acidity give it a longer finish then I expected delicious wine Structured and Vibrant definitely putting in on my wine list.

Jonathan Cochettti Sommelier Wine Director Tower Club Fort Lauderdale

I love the Aromatic nose of tropical fruits and lemon. The wine is well structured and balanced. I don’t normally like sparkling wines but I do like what appears to be smaller bubbles and the crispness of the wine. I love the label and the story and I think our members will love to try something different to what we current have on our list.
